A Moses Cone Fall Day,
Rocking on the Porch

Enjoying Moses Cone fall colors is as easy as sitting in a rocking chair on the porch of the Flat Top Manor on a warm autumn day.

Flat Top Manor, Moses Cone Memorial Park, Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, North Carolina You may not be a multi-millionaire like Moses Cone, but it is easy to enjoy the million dollar fall foliage scenic view from a rocking chair on the sunlit porch of his mansion. Ah, rocking on the porch on a crisp fall day surrounded by fall colors. Moses Cone Manor is the perfect place to relax with nothing better to do than look out across lovely blue Bass Lake surrounded by gently rolling hills blanketed with stunning North Carolina fall foliage.

Sometimes on a Moses Cone fall day it's hard to decide which is prettier, the tapestry of red, orange and yellow draping the hills, or the shimmering reflection of fall colors in Bass Lake far below. No need to rush into a decision though, just rock a while and enjoy an autumn view you'll never tire of while sitting on the porch at Moses Cone. Fall is the best time to sit on the porch and look out over the Moses Cone fall estate. And when you are ready, get up and walk into the Flat Top Manor behind you to admire the brilliant hand-crafted colors, patterns and shapes of some of the finest mountain crafts to be found anywhere.
